Matthew 28:19-20

2 Introduction Christ made it simple because this is His very purpose of for our lives and ministry It’s easy to understand, not easy to do

3 I. There Is One Commandment v.19b
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,” To make disciples learner of Christ imitator of Christ

4 Acts 11.26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

5 I. There Is One Commandment v.19b
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,” To make disciples Of all nations making disciples of every ethnic group multiplying disciples from our Jerusalem to the uttermost

6 Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

7 II. There Is One Plan vv.19-20a
“Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:” To evangelize v.19a,b “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,”

8 Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

9 II. There Is One Plan vv.19-20a
To evangelize v.19a,b “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,” going to the lost world preaching the gospel to every creature

10 Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

To evangelize v.19a,b To baptize v.19c “baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” identifying with Christ obeying Christ

“and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world” His presence - ‘I am with you’

17 2Timothy 4:16-17 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all menforsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

18 III. There is one Promise v.20b
“and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world” His presence - ‘I am with you’ His sufficiency - ‘alway’ His faithfulness - ‘even unto the end of the world’

19 Conclusion The issue: Are we willing to be obey Him and do what He commands us to do in the way He asked us to do it? The issue: Do we believe the promise of His presences?
