1 Directions for Title: *Work with your group to determine a catchy title. The title can be creative, but must make sense and correlate with your experiment. *Open MICROSOFT WORD *Click on PAGE LAYOUT, then click ORIENTATION. *Set orientation to LANDSCAPE. *Click on HOME *Set FONT to either: Times New Roman, Calibri, or Arial *Set FONT SIZE to 150 *Type your title (capitalize the important words—skip: an, a, the, of) *Click on REVIEW *Choose SPELLING & GRAMMAR and check/correct your spelling *Click FILE and SAVE to your Edmodo backpack *Print your title. Give it to Ms. P to hold until your group is ready to complete your board.

*Work with your group to make any corrections that were needed when the work was graded. *Open MICROSOFT WORD *Click on PAGE LAYOUT, then click ORIENTATION. *Set orientation to LANDSCAPE. *Click on HOME *Set FONT to either: Times New Roman, Calibri, or Arial *Set FONT SIZE to 32, Click on B and U, and click to center your heading *Type your heading (example: Hypothesis) It should be bold, underlined, and centered on the page if you followed the above steps correctly. *Change FONT SIZE to 16, Cancel the B and U by clicking on them again. Click to left justify your information. *Hit enter twice. Type your question or hypothesis (remember capital letters & punctuation) *Click on REVIEW *Choose SPELLING & GRAMMAR and check/correct your spelling *Click FILE and SAVE to your Edmodo backpack *Print your page. Give it to Ms. P to hold until your group is ready to complete your board.

*Work with your group to make any corrections that were needed when the work was graded. *Open MICROSOFT EXCEL *Recreate your data table. Include title, headings, data. (If you don’t know how to create a table, click on the question mark in the upper right hand corner of the screen and use the help to locate the directions for ‘create a data table’. *Highlight all of the material you entered and then hold down the CTRL button and C at the same time (short cut to copy the table). *Open MICROSOFT WORD *Click on PAGE LAYOUT, then click ORIENTATION. *Set orientation to LANDSCAPE. *Click on HOME *Set FONT to either: Times New Roman, Calibri, or Arial *Set FONT SIZE to 32, Click on B and U, and click to center your heading *Type your heading (example: Data Table) It should be bold, underlined, and centered on the page if you followed the above steps correctly. * Hit enter twice. Then hold down the CTRL button and V at the same time (short cut to paste the table). *Click FILE and SAVE to your Edmodo backpack *Print your page. Give it to Ms. P to hold until your group is ready to complete your board.

Include title, headings, data. (If you don’t know how to create a graph, use the tutorial found on the same page.) *SAVE to your Edmodo backpack *Print your page. Give it to Ms. P to hold until your group is ready to complete your board.

Be sure it follows the 6 step conclusion format! *Open MICROSOFT WORD *Click on PAGE LAYOUT, then click ORIENTATION. *Set orientation to LANDSCAPE. *Click on HOME *Set FONT to either: Times New Roman, Calibri, or Arial *Set FONT SIZE to 32, Click on B and U, and click to center your heading *Type your heading (example: Conclusion) It should be bold, underlined, and centered on the page if you followed the above steps correctly. *Change FONT SIZE to 16, Cancel the B and U by clicking on them again. Click to left justify your information. Click to change your spacing to 1.5. *Hint enter twice. Indent each paragraph (type space bar 5 times or hit TAB key once). *Type your conclusion (remember capitalization and punctuation). *Click on REVIEW. Choose SPELLING & GRAMMAR and check/correct your spelling *Click FILE and SAVE to your Edmodo backpack *Print your page. Give it to Ms. P to hold until your group is ready to complete your board.
