Goal - is to provide a weekly forum to answer LEA questions on Data Pipeline and inform LEA’s on any upcoming news and updates. Support at: 1

7 Title I interchange Group name is TI1 LEAUSER
<district name> PIPELINE-xxxx-TI1~LEAUSER Submit and Modify Role This interchange is used to identify Targeted Assistance students Used to set the title I status in the Student October snapshot Not used for the school wide students. These are set based on information from Federal Programs 7

12 Tagging at interchange level
Issue – For multiple collections the data must be reported as of a particular date. For example, Student October has multiple fields which must be reported as the value on the pupil enrollment date. Districts need a way to mark a record as being used instead of using the current value. This is called tagging. 12

13 Tagging at interchange level
How does it work? Districts load a file with records they would like tagged. When districts load the data they select the tag name (For example: Student October). The tag name is applied to each record in the file and the record is stored. Districts can continue to load students with more current information and not affect the tagged record. When the snapshot is taken it will pull the records on a priority basis (untagged is lower priority than tagged record) 13

Tagging allows districts to have two copies of data in the interchange at the same time. Tagging helps overlap in values between Student October and December Count collection. Tagging is only available with file uploads 14

File Type to be: Human Resources Snapshot School Year ( in example) Organization/LEA: automatically populated based on Log In Click the Search Button Then Click ‘Create Snapshot’ 30

Average Teacher Salary Code Example – ignore, this will be deleted Highly Qualified Teacher – same as current and includes Highly Qualified Status for Teachers and Title I Paraprofessionals. Human Resource Error Detail Report - provides detail of error record(s) and the errors associated with each Human Resource Error Summary Report – provides a count of the errors in the file by type of error 42

Human resource Snapshot Records – provides all records from the staff interchange that were included in the latest Human Resources Snapshot. This can pull all records for the entire district or records can be selected by school code. Layout Component - – ignore, this will be deleted Mode Contract Days/Hours Per Day by Job Class Category – same as current Overall Performance Ratings– same as current Report Data- ignore at this time Salary FTE by Size – same as current 43

Snapshot Records Excluded Due to Profile Errors – provides all records from the staff interchange that were not included in the latest Human Resources Snapshot. If these records need to be included, those staff interchange edits must first be corrected. Summary of Gender by District – same as current Summary of Job Classification by District – same as current Summary of Job Classification by School – same as current Summary of Race/Ethnicity by District– same as current Teacher Probationary Status – same as current 44

45 Viewing Detail Error Report in Cognos:
There is an option to view selected errors (by highlighting) or All errors at 1 time. 45

Correct the errors in the appropriate Interchange File (Staff Profile or Staff Assignment Association or both) Resubmit your data records in the Staff Interchange Re-Create the Snapshot Repeat as Needed 48
