3. The name of our school Our school was named after Imre Bródy, who was a physicist. He filled lamps with krypton. The poduction of krypton filled lamps based on his invention started in Ajka in 1937.So he was the most famous scientist of our town. The Eötvös Loránd Society of Physics named a prize after him commemorating his life's work.

4. Our school Our school was founded in 1953. Students who want to learn here can choose from 4 kinds of courses. In the school there are 640 students. And 40 teachers teach here.

5. Tradition There is a very funny day with old traditions in October. On this day the school- leavers initate the first-form students. They have to do some very funny tasks and then the teachers evaluate their performance.

6. Events in the school There is a very lovely event in February which is called school leavers dance. The school leavers perform dances. And they wear very beautiful clothes. They look like princesses and princes. Before this event they get a ribbon.It symbolizes that they will leave school soon.

7. Graduating Graduating is the most inportant part in the life of students. It is the last day before the final exam. The school leavers walk all over the class- rooms at the last time. Finally, the school takes leave of them.
