I. Evaluate your opening paragraph. Rate your introduction from 1 to 9 and explain your rating. Consider the following questions:
(A) Do you have a thesis that clearly asserts a definite argument in direct response to the question? Does your thesis include some idea of your basic line of reasoning, or is it just an assertion of a claim?
(B) Have showed an awareness of the other side? Is there a qualification or concession? Is it genuine or superficial?
II. Evaluate EACH body paragraph. Rate each paragraph from 1 to 9 and explain your rating. Consider the following questions:
(A) Are each of your topic sentences strong?
(B) Did you use a source as a counterargument?
III. Evaluate your prose and diction with a rating from 1 to 9. Explain your rating.

IV. Considering the answers to the questions above, evaluate your essay as a whole. Score it from 1 to 9 using the AP rubric. Explain your score. Is it the same one as your grade? What did you do well and what weaknesses do you need to improve to get a higher score next time?
