3 Conference Update Funding was provided to all that RSVP’d and got on the list (no more additions, sorry) Aimee will be contacting you through with more info The conference will be the 18th of April. If you signed up you are expected to be there, and dress appropriately. If you have signed up for the conference get your paperwork from Aimee after the meeting and finish signing up.

4 Open Positions Vice President Treasurer Representative
Event Coordinator* *New Position

5 Vice President Job Description:
1. Assume the duties of the president in his/her absence, or fulfill duties delegated by president 2. Works collaboratively with officers, current members, UWT staff to manage & recruit members each collegiate year. 3. Work with the President and all other appropriate parties to resolve appeals concerning denied membership, help with solving member concerns/problems, Approving/Denying memberships through Dawgden roster 4. Assist in coordinating academic workshops, social events, conferences, general meetings for student members—reaching out and asking students what they’d like to see happen in the Psychology club 5. Network with staff and faculty for academic workshops and events (in person, ing) 6. Send out reminders of upcoming events via Dawgden, Facebook, Twitter, in-person, and promote advertising along with other officers 7. Act as a resource for students—answer questions regarding Psychology major, classes, professors, events, etc. 8. Work with Advisor and other officers to establish and promote PsiChi—the Psychology Honors Society Weekly Hours: 1-3 (depends on # of events/week, meetings, officer availability)

6 Treasurer Job Description: Take care of financial paperwork
Keep track of expenditures Paperwork that goes with the expenditures (i.e. conference funding forms) Assist other officers and club members as needed Weekly Hours: 2-3

7 Representative Job Description: Campus community outreach
Regularly attends events and meetings Campus outreach activities (Quarterly Involvement Fairs) Weekly Hours: 1-3

8 Event Coordinator Job Description:
Attend all planned events throughout quarter Coordinate with the secretary and representative to book rooms and advertise for the event In charge of gathering all necessities for event (e.g. food, drinks, plates, cups, etc.) Weekly Hours: Varies (depends on number of events for that week--most events last about one hour) ***Must have an open schedule/open availability***

Volunteer Tacoma Women's Shelter Establishing PsiChi! Park Cleanup Collaborating with UW Seattle Psych club for an event Tutor sessions/study sessions at the end of quarter

11 What’s left for Winter Qtr?
Research Participation: uwtacoma.sona-systems.com *hard to find on Google; write it down* EXTRA CREDIT!!! Put it into that one Psych class you really need it in! Sign up soon! There are limited spots and after Mar 12th sessions won’t be offered! Study Abroad Fair: For those interested it is being WPH 12:30-1:20 Mar 4th Psych Study and Social: TBA room (All week. 12:30-1:20 on MW and 5:30-7:00 TTh) Is there demand for this event? Headcount? University Heritage: March in DOU 301 for the student focus group March in DOU 301 for the parent focus group. Share what heritage means to you in this community Food and Starbucks gift cards

12 Committees If anyone wishes to spearhead a committee for an event or have an idea of an event to start a committee under. As always let us know! Good luck during finals!
