8 Prize Rules 11 total prize opportunities (not including the match)
An agency can only win one Luck of the Draw Prize and/or Finale Drawing during the day Aaron will add prizes (except cumulative/after event prizes) into totals during the day

9 Online Giving 1% Cause Momentum administration fee for total online gifts No fee on match funding, prize money or pre- or post-load donations Standard credit card fees apply for online gifts, but donors can opt to cover these fees No transaction fees from CFO/CCF No long wait to access funds raised (as with Facebook fundraising) Donor contact information available to APs

10 CFO & CCF Responsibilities
Provide the Give Carthage Day platform on CauseMomentum.org Secure prize sponsorships Promote the event as a whole on our Facebook pages and with area media, including our Media Partners The Carthage Press and KDMO Provide event posters Provide promotional tools for APs Accept in-person gifts on your behalf at Give Carthage Day HQ at Cherry’s on the Square Cheer you on for a great day of fundraising and celebrate your successes with you at 5 pm at The Woodshed!

11 Nonprofits’ Responsibilities
Secure leadership & board support for your participation Decide on a goal: operational, project or endowment Create an online giving page using causemomentum.org Post and promote the givecarthage.org link on your website Use social media — both in advance and on the day of giving — to publicize your participation in Give Carthage Day Prepare your own marketing and promotion efforts using the tools provided Rally your donors to give online and help you have a chance to win prizes Send thank you notes to your donors after the event

April 2 – News Release from CCF/CFO with Participating APs Noted April 22 – Deadline to Have Pages Finalized April 29 – Deadline to Get Flyers/Posters Up April 30 – Pre-Load Gift Deadline for 5 p.m. May 7 – Give Carthage Day! May 9 – Post-Load Gift Deadline for 5 p.m. May 14 – CCF Announces Final Totals Including Cumulative/Post-Event Prizes

A story, simply: The characters face an obstacle in achieving a goal. Consider your audience and what you want them to do. Consider the purpose of the elements in your story and communications.

18 Set the Schedule Build a communications calendar for before, during and after project Template at givecarthage.org List basic details Start ramping up promotions several weeks before event Follow up with thank yous Later on, show how donations made a positive impact Stick to the schedule!
