MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING HELD ON
AT MESCO GRADES SCHOOL, MALAKPET, HYDERABAD. The Honorary Secretary Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed conveyed his salaams and requested the Hon’ble President Dr. Shamshad Hussain to call the meeting to order at 10:00 hrs. The President Dr. Shamshad Hussain conveyed his salaams and requested the Honorary Secretary Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed to take up the agenda of the meeting. The Honorary Secretary informed that the Quorum for the meeting is not complete and the meeting has to be adjourned for two hours as per constitutional requirement, to be reconvened at 12 noon or earlier as and when the quorum is complete. Before adjourning the meeting he requested Dr. Mehdi Inamdar to take up Recitation of Noble Quran. Item No. 1. Recitation of Holy Quran: Dr. Mehdi Inamdar recited Surey Fatiha. The Honorary Secretary thanked Dr. Mehdi Inamdar. Item No. 2. Condolence Resolution: The Honorary Secretary requested Dr. Ghulam Abass Ahmed to present the Condolence Resolution. Dr. Ghulam Abass Ahmed conveyed his Salaams and presented Condolence Resolution, he recited “INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAYHI RAJI'UN” & read out the names of the members who left for their Heavenly abode. 1). The Honorary Secretary informed the members the meeting is
reconvened at 12 noon or earlier as and when the quorum is complete. At 12:00 p.m. The Honorary Secretary Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed requested the President to call the meeting to order and welcomed all the members and requested the office bearers of MESCO to take the seats on the dais. Item No. 3 Confirmation of the minutes of the last General Body meeting: The Honorary Secretary requested Dr. Mir Wajahath Ali to present the minutes of the Annual General Body meeting held on Dr. Mir Wajahath Ali conveyed his Salaams & thanked Allah SWT for giving an opportunity to stand before the august body and present the minutes of the AGB meeting held on He read out the minutes of the General Body meeting held on , the members gave a patient hearing and the minutes were placed for confirmation by the members. All the members of the august body unanimously approved the minutes of the AGB meeting held on it was proposed by Dr. K. Zama Khan seconded by Dr. Taher Mohammed. Item No. 4. Presentation of Audited Accounts for the Financial Years The Honorary Treasurer Dr. M. Samiullah Khan, conveyed his Salaams to all the members of the august body thanked the Honorary Secretary and presented the Audited Accounts for the Financial Years 2012 – 2013. Dr. M. Samiullah Khan requested the members that the Accounts were audited by auditors M/s. Amanullah & Sons and the same are also available on the website he also informed the members to pay attention to the Multi Media presentation and read out the highlights of the audited accounts for the F/Y The members reviewed the audited accounts and approved the same unanimously proposed by Dr. Ghouse Mohiuddin Ali & seconded by Mr. M. Waris Baig. Item No. 5. Presentation of Budget Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin conveyed his salaams and thanked Allah SWT for giving this opportunity to stand before this august body and present the Budget. He requested the members to pay attention to the Multi Media presentation and read out the budget the highlights of the Budget as follows: The budget proposed for F/Y as follows: Income proposed for the F/Y Rs 15,22,00,000.00 Expenses proposed for the F/Y Rs.11,80,00,000.00 Surplus proposed for the F/Y Rs. 3,42,00,000.00

The Budget was placed for approval by the members of the august body.
The members approved the Budget for the financial year unanimously proposed by Mr. Mohammed Ikramuddin seconded by Dr. Mir Khursheed Ali. Item No. 6 Presentation of Annual Reports 2013 by Honorary Secretary. – Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed conveyed his salaams and thanked all the members for taking interest in the working of the organization & participations in the deliberation on this Annual general Body meeting on 26th January I would like to thank all the staff members of the organization who obtain and compiled the performance of MESCO last year activities. I also thank the Members of the Managing Committee for the support in proper function of the organization and guidance, I thank Allah accepting our services and all the support in discharging our duties. As the chief functionary the trust you have given on me is done in the right perspective and with the blessings of Allah we have all our records checked and verified by the concerned authorities time and again and they are satisfied with the functioning of the organization. As you all are aware that this organization is 30 years old and I feel that the youth to come ahead in taking up the responsibility of this type of organization because whatever our elders have done brought up the organization we are managing today. He requested all the members of the august body to introspect as we have already crossed three (3) decades. He said that at times he feel handicapped because he don’t have youngsters to take the responsibilities forward. He presented the projects report through the Multi Media Presentation and the members reviewed the same. With regard to the MESCO College of Pharmacy he informed the members about the flagship course Pharma. D. a six (6) years post-baccalaureate course started by the Pharmacy Council of India in the year 2008 and the first batch of 30 students shall be passing out in the year 2014. He also informed the members that due to certain observation and objections by the AICTE the B. Pharmacy course for the academic year , but we had couple of hearings with the AICTE and NCMEI and they have permitted us to admit students form the academic year He informed the members that MESCO ALEEF programme is now 21 years old and it continues to grow, about 300 or more schools all over the Country have already adopted the programme and about 3, 00,000 students are enrolled in the program at present. He thanked Moulana Giyasul Islam Rahmani for personally taking interest and in the background Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin is providing necessary support to ensure quality publications of syllabus. He also informed the members that the syllabus is already published in English, Arabic, Hindi, Telugu, Assamese and it is to be published in Tamil, Malayalam, & Gujarati which is in process.He requested all the members to

come forward and pray for the success of this programme so that MESCO
tries to reach this programme all over the world. Amendments in the MESCO Constitution / Byelaws: The Honorary Secretary informed the members that there are certain important amendments which the Income Tax Department is asking to do in the Constitution he also said that there are certain amendments requested by the members he said we want to form a committee of experts including along with the members of MESCO to review the constitution in totality & keeping in view local laws related with the IT department, FCRA, Education and other departments and also to ensure that the existing permissions are not amended by making necessary amendments in the constitution, he requested all the members to volunteer to this sub-committee participate and give suggestions so that it can be [presented in the next Annual General Body meeting for its approval by the members. He said that he is being given the responsibility as Chief functionary of the organization and if any of the members feel that he is not fulfilling the given responsibility they are free to bring him to his notice and he will be the first person to step down. He informed that we have 30 projects and there is so much of work has to be done not only in Hyderabad but all over the Country there are similar organizations requesting MESCO for technical support where we have to work, as more than 70% of Muslims have failed to have proper leader presently there are only two leaders they are Social Activist & the other who are running Educational Institutions. He informed that the time has come to pick up individual two groups & give them the responsibility of managing their assets of the community, since education is the priority of MESCO which is most neglected we want to privatize our own energies in embodying the basic education and for that we want to incorporate MESCO Arabic Language programme right from the inception, so that the coming generation becomes reality in our life time. He informed the members that all the details of this Annual General Body Meeting including his report is available on the website he requested the members to kindly visit the website commit and guide, he is standing before this august body to take suggestions and correct him. He thanked all the members for patient hearing and thanked Allah SWT for his support & guidance in presenting the report. He requested the members to approve the Annual Report for the year All the members appreciated the presentation and approved the same unanimously as proposed by Dr. Syed Abu Hanifa & seconded by Dr. Ghulam Abass Ahmed. Amendments in the Constitution / Byelaws: He informed the members that there are certain amendments suggested by the Income Tax Department and comparative amendments are as follows, he requested the members to pay attention to the Multi Media Presentation. The details of 8 (eight) comparative amendments are attached along with for the members to go through.

He requested the members to kindly approve the amendments so that the
amendments can be forwarded to the Income Tax Department for their records and necessary approvals. The list of amendments attached along with. The members unanimously approved the amendments and they were proposed by Dr. Ghulam Abass Ahmed and seconded by Dr. Mir Wajahath Ali. Item No. 9. Presidential Address The Honorary Secretary requested the Hon’ble President to address the august gathering. Dr. Shamshad Hussain conveyed his salaams and congratulated the Honorary Secretary Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed for all the good work he is being doing to this organization, he also said that he also congratulate Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin and Moulana Giyasul Islam Rahamani for the ALEEF course. With regard to the amendments in the MESCO constitution he said that we must constitute a sub-committee and make necessary changes and get it approved in the General Body meeting by 2/3rd majority and submitted in the government offices. He also said that to have a sub-committee we need members and we must try to enroll new young members from the Muslim Managed Medical Colleges & Engineering Colleges. The Honorary Secretary thanked the President and requested Dr. Nizam Ali Khan Lodhi for his remarks & vote of thanks. Item No. 10. Vote of Thanks: Dr. Nizam Ali Khan Lodhi conveyed his salaams & said that our organization must have more younger people to actively participate, as this organizations is more than 30 years & above, so it is high time that the younger members takes our place with learning, knowledge & experience of their seniors they can be groomed in the service of community. Regarding the amendments of MESCO constitutions and some of the problems raised by few members from time to time. He said fear of God & the concept of accountability and the doings in this world are shown to us in Akhira with that we try to work and if there are lapses bring to the notice we shall try to correct it. He thanked the President, the members of the managing committee and all the Directors of the projects for carrying out the activities with sincerity and he thanked all the members of the august body. Item No. 11 Dua: Moulana Giyasul Islam Rahmani conveyed his salaams and offered Dua and prayed to guide all of us on right path. The President call the meeting is adjourned.

MESCO DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE is recognized by G.C.C states for conducting pre-employment Medical Examination on persons travelling to GCC Countries. DURING THE YEAR 2014 WE HAVE BEEN ALLOCATED CANDIDATES BY GAMCA - HYDERABAD ACCURATE RESULTS AT REASONABLE COSTS A modern Medical Diagnostic Centre laboratory with advanced equipment like Digital X Ray, Automatic Cell Counter, AXYM a fully automatic high precision analyser from Abbot USA used for conducting all the special tests like hormones, Cardiac makers, Cancer makers etc. ECG, Ultrasonography etc. All the equipment being handled by a team of qualified and experienced doctors and technicians always endeavoring to maintain quality and accuracy. SABMEC – MESCO EDUCATION AID PROGRAMME
Scholarships are given to Medical, Engineering, Nursing students. Scores of students have achieved their goals for the past twenty eight years. Dr. F.M. SIDDIQUI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP AND Dr. F.M. SIDDIQUI GOLD MEDAL Dr. F.M. Siddiqui Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students in the field of Medicine & Engineering and Dr. F.M. Siddiqui Gold medals are awarded to Urdu Medium SSC toppers every year. MESCO HOUSES: There are two hostels One for boys and one hostel for girls. MESCO SPORTS FOUNDATION: Giving the younger generation a chance to grow psychically as well and take part in competitions in different sports and games. An Olympic size swimming pool and indoor games like Snooker, Table Tennis etc are provided at the MESCO Sports Foundation Malakpet. A full fledged outdoor sports facility will be provided soon.

EDUCATION FOUNDATION Following subjects are taught: Tajweed & Nazera ( recitation of Noble Quran) 2. Arabic Writing 3. Quranic Vocabulary 4.Arabic grammar to understand Noble Quran 5. Translation of Noble Quran Seerath-Un-Nabi SAS 7. Basic Islamic Knowledge English Language 9. Teaching Methodology Computers 10. Personality Development. Candidates who were not able to recite Noble Quran at the beginning learned to recite Noble Quran with Tajweed could write Arabic & understand and translate Noble Quran on their own without the assistance of any translation. This is a remarkable achievement & brings about sea change in the life & personality of students. Candidates come from all parts of India & MESCO hosts them for six months boarding, lodging, transport, teaching material and the course everything is free MESCO does not charge the candidates any thing. The pass outs go back to their respective places and teach MESCO ALEEF programme at various schools. The DEAL programme is one of the important means of making teachers for ALEEF programme, and also a good employment prospect especially for girls.

MESCO ALEEF trains about Madarsa pass outs every year for the past 11 years. During the month of May 2012, 54 Madrasa graduates were trained for 30 days in the following subjects: a). Tajweed b). Arabic Grammar. c). Language of Noble Quran & Translation d). Teaching Methods e). Computers. f). Personality Development. g). English Language The trained Madarasa graduates are the main source of teachers for MESCO ALEEF to teach at various schools, so far more than 1000 Ulemas have been trained during the past 11 years. More number of females attend the programme than boys. The training boarding & lodging, transport and course material is provided free to the candidates. OUT STATION TEACHERS TRAINING PROGRAMME Training at B.S. Abdur Rahman University, Vandalur, Chennai from 27th September to 12th October 2012. MESCO ALEEF organized a two week training programme at the said University for Arabic teachers. Also Arabic teachers from different schools also attended the programme which proved to be very beneficial. Tajweed Arabic Grammar and personality development training at India Islamic Centre , New Delhi from 3rd June to 29th june 2012, 200 candidates benefited and wer inspired to learn the language of noble Quran. Teachers Training at University grants commission Academic Staff College, Aligarh Muslim University from 6th October to 16th October For the Arabic teachers working at the University schools and other private schools in Aligarh. Successful training programme appreciated by all the participants & MESCO ALEEF programme is implemented at all the Aligarh University schools and other private schools at Aligarh..

MEETING HELD ON 24-01-2014 MINUTES OF THE MANAGING COMMITTEE
Eight (8) members have attended the meeting. The Hon’ble President Dr. Shamshad Hussain Could not attend the meeting as he is not well. The meeting was Presided by the Vice-President Dr. Nizam Ali Khan Lodhi Item No. 2.Confirmation of the minutes of the last managing committee meeting the President requested the Honorary Secretary to read out the minutes of the meeting held in the moth of December 2013. The minutes were read and placed before the members for its confirmation. The members approved the minutes unanimously. Item No. 3 Review of Accounts: The Honorary Secretary informed that the Accounts Officer has submitted Office Note informing due to internal audit of accounts is going the accounts are not ready and shall be placed in the next Managing Committee meeting. Item No. 4 Conference held at Legacy of Muslim Scientist 1000 years down the line and Celebration of 1000 years of death Anniversary Al Zahrawai father of Modern Surgeon from 13 to was inaugurated by Ho’ble Minister Minority Affairs Government of India Mr. K. Rehman Khan the Honorary Secretary briefed the members about the Conference. About 500 delegates attended the conference. He also informed the exhibition of the replicas used were exhibited during the conference which was organized by MESCO Item No. 5 Annual General Body last meeting will be held on , all the relevant agenda is uploaded on our website Regarding suggestion and resolution we have received one letter from Mr. Syed Mujeebuddin. After the discussion the Vice – President suggested let Mr. S. Mujeebuddin attend the meeting and present it before the members. Minute to minute programme of the General Body meeting was also discussed. The Honorary Secretary also informed that as per the MESCO Constitution if 50 members are present the meeting can be started but if the Quorum is not full than we have to defer the meeting for two hours and the Honorary Secretary suggested that if the meeting is deferred due to incomplete quorum members can visit and see the MESCO ALEEF (DEAL) programme going on at the same premises. Item No. 6. Visit of the GCC Technical Committee meeting the Honorary Secretary requested the Chief Administrative Officer to brief about the preparation. The Chief Administrative Officer informed the members that renovation of the premises is going on and shall be completed before the GCC visit. The Honorary Secretary informed the members that Advertisement for appointmemnt of staff was given in local papers and after shotlisting the applications received, interviews were held for the post of Executive Secretary, Receptionist & Administrative Assistant Dr. M.A, Nayeem Khan suggested for uniform to the staff and to give them additional 5% increment and also to pay Bonus. Minutes of the Annual General Body meeting held on The Honorary Secretary Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed thanked the President and read out the minutes of the Annual General Body meeting held on The members gave a patient hearing and reviewed the minutes for its implementation and the same will be placed in the Annual General Body meeting to be held in 2015 for its confirmation by the general body members. Review of Accounts: Honorary Treasurer Dr. M. Samiullah Khan presented the accounts as follows: Income from 1st April 2013 to – Rs. 10, 94, 94,083.00 Expenses from 1st April 2013 to – Rs. 7, 22, 64,114.00 Surplus of income from 1st April 2013 to – Rs. 1, 91, 67,539.00 The members also decided to have a purchase committee, which will meet quarterly and the Honorary Secretary suggested that the Committee will have the following members, Convener would be the Vice-President, and the members would be the Director, Honorary Secretary, HOD, Accounts Officer & The Manager. The members also discussed about the fee dues and the Honorary Treasurer suggested that the list of dues to be collected from the students is to be forwarded to the accounts department and when the student approaches for the Hall Ticket he must be directed to the accounts department and till he clears the out standing dues no hall ticket to be issued to him. Visit of the GCC Technical Committee Team tentatively in March 2014: The Honorary Secretary requested the Director MDC, Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin to inform the committee about the visit of GCC Technical Committee Team. Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin thanked the President and informed the committee that the GCC Technical Team is expected in the month of March / April 2014, he informed that so far we have not received any official information and in this connection renovation work of the Diagnostic Centre is going on and nearly 80 % of the work is completed. Mr. Waris Baig informed that for the last 5 years we are incurring losses he is of the opinion that we are not able to serve the purpose and his priority was to accommodate meritorious students and the meritorious students are not coming so he wants the managing committee to take a decision. It was resolved unanimously by all the members to close the MESCO Hostel at Rasoolpura, Secunderabad.

Minorities Empowerment Council of India: The Honorary Secretary informed that Minorities Empowerment Council of India is conducting a Seminar Challenges Before Minorities on March 02,2014 at Jubliee Hall, Hyderabad. They have requested to financially support them in successfully conducting the seminar He has suggested granting aid of Rs /- towards distribution of mementos to the dignitaries and the guest attending the programme It was resolved to grant an amount of Rs. 10,000/- towards mementos to Minorities Empowerment Council of India. b). IT Assessment Order: The Honorary Secretary informed the members about the Income Tax assessment order dated wherein the department after examining the information furnished and books of accounts along with bills & vouchers the assessment is completed by accepting the income returned for the period. c). MESCO College of Pharmacy inspection: Dr. Syed Zaferullah Hashmi informed the members that Osmania General Hospital has agreed to give the clinical training to the students of Pharmacy College. d). Conferences: The Honorary Secretary informed the members about the conferences i). CII Conference Corporate Social Responsibility from – at Chennai ii). South Indian Conference of NGO at Bangalore, he requested Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin to attend the seminar to be held at Bangalore on 8th & 9th March 2014 iii). National Board of Accreditation in Delhi, on 8, 9 & he suggested the name of Mrs. Samina Yasmeen from Cadre Department or Director Academics if we are going to continue her services for the workshop at Delhi. GCC Technical Committee visit Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin informed the members that the Team visited MDC on and they were five members from each Country Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, State of Kuwait, Sultanate of Oman, Qatar & Bahrain respectively, out them three female Doctors were from Qatar, Bahrain & Oman, except for the Delegate from State of Kuwait the other members have come for the first time for inspection. The members also discussed about the norms and the penalty details by the GCC, The Honorary Secretary informed that they have totally removed the grace margin, even for one single Unfit case we have to pay penalty of US $ 2000/-. MESCO Hostels: The Honorary Secretary informed that Mr. Waris Baig is informed about the decision taken in the MC for discontinuation of Hostel at Rasoolpura, he is preparing an new MOU regarding his contribution of nearly Rs. 57:00 lakhs he has invested and also about his Hostel. Regarding the IT assessment for the year MESCO contribution of Rs. 25:00 lakhs to MESCO Public School, Amroha was not taken into account so we have to amend and Mr. Kamal Faruqui is requested to send the details and also to speak with our Chartered Accountant for incorporating and auditing our accounts & onward submission to IT Department MESCO College of Pharmacy: Recognition by the Osmania University Dr. Syed Zaferullah Hashmi is pursuing with the Government and soon hopefully we would be able to get the order.

South India Conference at Bangalore: Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin informed that Alhamdulliah it was a good gathering by NGO’s and he also got chance to speak and he gave the presentation of MESCO ALEEF programme, next year they are planning to hold the conference at Hyderabad. MESCO Grades School Asifnagar: The building we have identified found to be not suitable after physically assessing so we have dropped the proposal. Item No. 4 Report MESCO ALEEF (D.E.A.L) Diploma Education in Arabic Language: The Joint Secretary requested Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin to present the report of MESCO ALEEF Diploma Education in Arabic Language programme. Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin informed the members that the 5th Batch of DEAL (Diploma Education in Arabic Language) programme started on for 6 months and it concluded on 30/05/2014. Nearly 80 candidates from all the Country have attend the programme out of them 26 students were from Hyderabad. Examination was conducted from to , 40 of the students have scored more than 75% Distinction and 36 students scored First Class 2 students scored second class and 2 students failed in the examination. Graduation ceremony was held on Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin requested the committee that we have to appoint our trained teachers in different cities, Chennai, Mumbai & Delhi.

The Joint Secretary informed the members about the financial details related with MESCO ALEEF, the members reviewed the same. MESCO FOOD – Ramzan programme: The Joint Secretary informed the members that every year appeal for donation / Zakaat during the month of Ramzan is circulated to all the members / patrons / donors & well wishers. This year also we are going to request all the members, well wishers and donors to come forward and give their donation / zakaat for MESCO FOOD Ramzan Programme. He read out the appeal letter to be circulated to all the members. The members approved the same. Any other matter a). Land 0.28 Guntas sale Himayathnagar Village: The President informed that one Mr. Ramesh has approached to purchase the land of 28 guntas and after negotiations he agreed to buy the land at a cost of Rs. 28 lakh and he informed the accounts officer to contact Mr. Ramesh and if committee agrees for the offer to proceed ahead with completing the formalities. The committee agreed the same, it was also discussed that the land near Gandipet, Himayathnagar school admeasuring 400 Sq Yards to be purchased for development of the existing school. Appointment Mr. M.A. Majeed, Maheshwaram School: The Joint Secretary informed that we have identified Mr. M.A. Majeed who is willing to stay at Maheshwaram to be appointed as Principal. The monthly remuneration all inclusive Rs. 20,000/- p.m shall be paid to him and he will be working as Principal MESCO New Model School, Maheshwaram. The Committee approved the same. Appointment of MESCO ALEEF Staff at different location in Inda, Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin thanked the committee for permitting to appoint staff to work in different places of the Country he informed the members that as of now we have two trained candidates, the first one is from Bhiwandi, Kalyaan, Maharashtra he is Aalim and found to be capable we have decided to appoint him for Maharashtra, his responsibility is to visit different schools in Maharashtra and also to conduct 6 months teacher straining programme at the schools. Dr. Abdul Wase Qawi wanted to know the details of expenses related with MESCO ALEEF. The Honorary Secretary & the Accounts Officer presented the Budget details and the income and expenses details related with ALEEF programme. The Honorary Secretary also briefed the members about the sponsorships received from State of Kuwait, SEED - USA, and from Basheeruddin Babu Khan Trust towards MESCO ALEEF programme. He requested all the members of the Managing Committee to take care of one Government school, the cost is three teachers and books which is approximately Rs. 2:00 Lakhs per annum for each school so if each members can take the responsibility we can add ten (10) more Government Urdu Schools, each school will have between 500 – 800 students and for every 250 students we need one teacher. b). Land at Gandipet Himayathnagar Village: The Honorary Secretary requested The Hon’ble President to brief about the land sale at Gandipet. The President informed the members that the approach to the existing 28 guntas land at Gandipet is not proper so we are not getting a good price but presently one party has agreed tp Rs. 40:00 Lakh per acre and for 28 guntas we are going to get Rs. 28: 00 lakh and he shall be paying some amount as advance and asked for two month time for balance payments. The President also suggested that the land surrounding Himayathnagar MESCO school admeasuring 400 yards can be purchased with the sale of the 28 guntas of land and the same can be used for school sports activity and he suggested to prepare a cricket pitch so that we can produce sportsman from our School.

He also informed the members about the arrangement of Iftaar made at Mecca & Madina Saudi Arabia and also distribution of food packets at different places in the Country and donations to the following institutions: a). Mukkam Muslim Orphanage, Kozikode The Honorary Secretary informed about the letter of appreciation from Mayor Hyderabad whose parents during Omra have attended our Iftaar at Mecca and Madina. Dr. M. Iftekharuddin informed that Ex MP of Hyderabad Mr. KM Khan his brother came personally to MESCO to inform that he was there in Mecca and attended the Iftaar and he wanted to thank MESCO and the members of the Managing Committee for providing the service there. The Honorary Secretary informed the members about the letter from Mr. Mujahid GIS Engineer Holy Mecca Municipality who has appreciated the arrangements of Iftaar at Mecca. He also informed that people taking benefit from this activity are also paying some amount, he said this activity can expand properly if we have a system. Dr. Samiullah Khan also appreciated this activity saying it is a unique programme.

MESCO House Rasoolpura: Mr. Waris Baig informed the members a decision to close the Hostel at Rasoolpura is taken in the previous Managing Committee and he is been requesting the Honorary Secretary to take up the renovation work, repairs and painting of the building and the work is not yet started as such he is suffering losses. The members discussed the Lease Deed and the MOU of MESCO & SABMEC Trust and it was decided to form a committee of the Honorary Treasurer, Dr. Wase Qawi, Dr. S. Zaferullah Hashmi and Advocate Mr. MM Firdous who will check the records and the take a opinion, he requested the members to expedite and between 10 – 15 days the report to be submitted in the office and the work at hostel to be started. ii). Foreign Contributions; The Honorary Secretary informed the members that we have received US $ 10000/- from Project Save International and nearly US $ 2000 from Mr. Azhar Pasha for scholarships and books. iii). Court Cases: The Honorary secretary informed that the Court Case filed by Dr. K.I. Askari in the City Civil court is dismissed. He said that we have filed a writ petition in the City civil Court against the orders passed against premises of MDC and we have obtained stay order against eviction. He also informed about the cases filed by Dr. KA. Sattar Khan and Dr. M. Aijaz Hussain are pending in the High Court. iv). Appeal for Adoption of Destitute Burma Refugees in Hyderabad: The Honorary Secretary informed the members about the appeal letter from Mr. Mazher Hussain, Executive Director, COVA. He has requested MESCO to consider 50 Rs. 3000/- per refugee and he recommended for sponsoring 30 Rs. 3000/- the members agreed the same. vi). Opening of Ultrasound Scanning and sample collection Centre at Towlichowki: The honorary secretary informed the members that Dr. M.A. Nayeem Khan has a proposal to start a U/S scanning centre at Towlichowki, he requested Dr. M.A. Nayeem Khan to brief the members. Dr. M.A. Nayeem Khan informed the members that he has nearly 1000 Sq Feet of vacant place on first floor and Ground floor at his residence at Towlichowki and he wants to extend his services to MESCO. He said that there is good scope as it has thickly population of poor people nearby localities. We can charge very nominal charges say about Rs. 350/- for scanning and also we can have the services of male radiologist as Dr. Javed Ankolvi & his son are staying near at Towlichowki, the Honorary Secretary also suggested having sample collection facility and X-Ray. Review of Accounts upto August 2014: The Joint Secretary informed the members that he has received office note from the Accounts Officer informing that due to the ongoing filing of IT returns the accounts for the month of August 2014 is not ready and the same will be presented in the next meeting. Appeal Qurbani 2014: The Joint Secretary read out the appeal letter for Qurbani 2014 to be circulated to all the members/ donors. Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin informed the members that we have contacted Tamkeen Group to book about 50 Rs. 240/- per kg and nearly 30 of them are booked for members & staff and if any of the members desirous can inform in the accounts department we can make necessary arrangements. Dr. M. Samiulllah Khan requested to book 5 goats for him. MESCO ALEEF 6th DEAL programme: Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin informed the members that Inshallah from 1st of December 2014 the MESCO ALEEF 6th DEAL programme shall be started at MESCO Grades School Malakpet. He also informed that the programme is a very high quality teaching and concentrated programme and for the last 5 years we are trying to record it but with the resources available the recording sound quality is very poor. He suggested going for recording by professional cameras so that all the training programme can be uploaded on to the web and social media and it is also expected that we can generate revenue.

MEETING HELD ON CONTINUED: To hire professional camera man the charges would be very high, he therefore suggested to buy 2 (two) professional cameras costing about Rs. 2.5 lakhs and to appoint a camera man for 6 months on salary basis. He requested the committee to permit to buy two professional cameras and also for the appointment of a cameraman. Dr. M. Samiullah Khan suggested that along with Arabic programme the communication skills also to be developed for general public, he said that we have to start separate special classes for communication skills and Dr. M. Iftekharuddin suggested for Telugu language also. Any other matter with the permission of Chair: a). AFMI Convention at Houston United States of America: The Joint Secretary informed the members that the Honorary Secretary Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed has been invited by American Federation of Muslims of Indian Origin (AFMI) to attend the AFMI Convention at Houston, Texas, USA, in this regard he left for USA on , he shall be speaking on the Topic: Emerging Trends in World Resources, Methodologies & Contents, they are also going to felicitate Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed the Air ticket, accommodation and other expenses shall be looked after by AFMI. MEETING HELD ON Ten (10) members have attended the meeting: Recitation of Holy Quran: The meeting started with Recitation of Noble Quran by Dr. M. Samiullah Khan. Confirmation of the minutes of the Managing Committee meeting held on The Honorary Secretary read out the minutes of the Managing Committee meeting held on The members gave a patient hearing and the minutes were placed before the members for confirmation. All the members unanimously approved the minutes. Nominations / Selection of short term members Managing Committee: The Honorary Term of short term members is expiring on , we have to nominate or continue the same members sp that they can take charge from He also informed that the following member’s term is expiring. 1). MEETING HELD ON Six (6) members have attended the meeting The meeting started at 4:30 p.m with Recitation of Noble Quran by Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin. The meeting was presided by the Honorary Secretary Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed. The Honorary Secretary Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed informed the members tahat the Hon’ble President is not present and the Honorary Treasurer has to attend a meeting he shall be leaving by 4:30 p.m. It was decided by the members to defer the agenda of the meeting to the next managing committee meeting. The Honorary Secretary informed the members that in the previous managing committee meeting it was decoded to dispose the land 0.28 Guntas at Himayathnagar, Gandipet village and utilize the money purchasing land adjacent to the MESCO School Himayathnagar. In this connection the President Dr. Shamshad Hussain is negotiating with the parties and we have to authorize the President for sale and purchase of land at Himayathnagar village. It was decided unanimously by the members to authorize Dr. Shamshad Hussain President MESCO to represent and act on behalf of MESCO Managing Committee for the purpose of sale and purchase of land at Himayathnagar Village Gandipet and to undertake the financial transactions towards the same. Hence this Resolution The Managing Committee MESCO in its meeting held on 31st October 2014 unanimously decided and authorized Dr. Shamshad Hussain, S/o. Mr. Hussain Mustafa, Honorable President MESCO to represent and act on behalf of MESCO Managing Committee for the purpose of sale and purchase of land at Himayathnagar Village Gandipet and to undertake the financial transactions towards the same. Sale of Land at Himayathnagar Village: The Honorary Secretary requested the Hon’ble President Dr. Shamshad Hussain to brief the committee about the sale of land at Himayathnagar Village. Dr. Shamshad Hussain informed the members that in the last meeting it was informed that we are getting a offer of Rs. 1:00 lakh per Gunta and the 28 guntas land was sold for Rs. 28 lakh and we have received advance of Rs. 13:00 lakh out of which we have purchased 350 Sq Yards of land adjacent to MESCO School, Himayathnagar Village at a cost of Rs. 12,10, and it is also registered in the name of MESCO with the balance of Rs. 90, we have to construct a boundary wall and the work is already started. i). Kashmir Relief: The Honorary Secretary informed the members that we have agreed for Rs. 10:00 lakh relief to Kashmir out of which we have send Rs. 5:00 lakh and the balance is to be sent. He also informed that there is one group Mr. Salim Zubedi and others from Saudi Arabia who have agreed to sponsor a Ambulance, Mobile Health Clinic and they shall be contributing Rs. 20:00 lakh and they will also be donating school bags & Books costing Rs each to 1000 students. He requested the committee to approve to proceed with the purchase of Ambulance. The members approved the same. The Honorary Secretary informed that we are in the process of forming MESCO Kashmir branch through our Doctor Colleagues in Warangal he requested the members to kindly pass a resolution in this regard so that all the relief activities are done through this branch. Dr. M.A. Rafeeq said to consider the pro & cons of opening a branch in Kashmir, instead he suggested letting it be an independent unit. The Honorary Secretary said that we shall be only supporting them technical no financial support shall be provided through MESCO. k). B.Ed & Law College: The members also discussed about setting up of B.Ed college & Law College. The meeting came to end with Dua and thanks to the Chair.

Candidates who were not able to recite Noble Quran at the beginning learned to recite Noble Quran with Tajweed could write Arabic & understand and tanslate Noble Quran on their own without the assistance of any translation. This is a remarkable achievement & brings about sea change in the life & personality of students. Candidates come from all parts of India & MESCO hosts them for six months boarding, lodging, transport, teaching material and the course everything is free MESCO does not charge the candidates any thing. The pass outs go back to their respective places and teach MESCO ALEEF programme at various schools. The DEAL programme is one of the important means of making teachers for ALEEF programme, and also a good employment prospect especially for girls. OBJECTIVES: PHASE I – NURSERY TO 3rd STANDARD 1. PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS By: Dr. SHAMSHAD HUSSAIN Dear Members, Ladies and Gentlemen & my Colleagues Assalamu Alaikum , I welcome you all to the 28th Annual General Body meeting of MESCO. I thank Allah SWT for giving me the opportunity to stand before you all and to Chair this august meeting. The last meeting was held on 26th January and during the year 2014 I have attended the Managing Committee meetings and I must say that the Organization is progressing in the right Direction taking utmost care of the accountability & transparency. I hereby call the meeting to order & request all the members to maintain decorum and I am sure tranquility, peaceful proceeding will remove most of doubts in your mind and clarify every point. The Agenda will be discussed point by point by Honorary Secretary Dr Fakhruddin Mohammed and all are requested to give a patient hearing and make a note of the points and if you need any clarifications you are welcome and in the item any other matter of the agenda it will be taken up. I also wanted to inform you that the notice of the AGB meeting along with a letter to submit resolutions /suggestions was sent to all the members.
