1 A Journey through The Water Cycle
Condensation Precipitation Evaporation and Transpiration Run-Off Accumulation A Journey through The Water Cycle

2 Water Cycle: The continuous process by which water moves from Earth’s surface to the atmosphere and back. BrainPOP - Animated Educational Site for Kids - Science, Social Studies, English, Math, Arts & Music, Health, and Technology

3 Parts of the Water Cycle
Transpiration – The process where water is lost through plant leaves. Precipitation – Forms of water such as rain, sleet, snow or hail that fall from the clouds. Condensation – The process where water changes from a gas to a liquid and cools off, bonds with other cooled off water vapor and forms a cloud. Evaporation - The process that occurs when a liquid turns into a gas. Accumulation – The process of water gathering in large bodies of water. Run-Off – Water that runs off into streams or rivers and back into the oceans or becomes ground water.

4 Evaporation - The process that occurs when a liquid turns into a gas.
