2. When timer goes off, I set it again for 1 minute for you to talk with your neighbors.

So I can write an expression using the fewest number of symbols or characters, or write expressions in expanded form and also be able to identify the parts of an expression using math terms.
I will show I know it when I can write the expressions to solve at least 6 out of 10 whiteboard problems with at least 80% accuracy.
