Do you ever wonder what's up above our heads? Well, I'm here to tell you. Outer space contains moons, meteors, and a planet named Mars. There are 173 moons, nine planets and millions and millions of meteors. There are so many things in space it was hard to choose what to tell you!

3 Meteors There are lots and lots of meteors. Meteors are small bodies of matter. Meteors, or shooting stars burn in the earth's atmosphere. Rubbing air particles creates friction which is what makes the long bluish tail. Meteors take a long time to study and I've only stated a few facts feel free to learn more!

4 Moons  Scientists know for now that there are 173 moons. Earth has 1 moon called well... the moon. Our moon controls the tides. Planets hold on to their moons like the sun holds the planets...gravity. Some planets have more than one moon. There are many moons all as extraordinary as the next.

5 Mars Mars is the 4th planet from the sun. Located right behind Earth it gives of a red color. We have found signs of water on Mars which leads some scientists to believe there once was life there. It’s also home to the largest volcano in our solar system. Mars has some interesting facts so be sure to check them out!
