3. The Book Thief
Turn to page 452. We’re going to read to page 464, and then you’ll read and annotate pages on your own.
As we read: Make sure you’re paying attention and annotating as we go! It will help you remember what’s happening. 
As you read: Don’t forget to annotate! You will need at least one well-thought out, 2+ sentence annotation per page

4. The Book Thief
For the rest of the year, aside from reading, annotating, and our final Book Thief test, your job will be to work on your final project, which will account for 20% of your final grade.
Let’s read through the assignment. Write down any questions you have and save them for the end. 
These will be due at the end of class on the day of your final – Tuesday, 5/15.
