What is St Elizabeth Hospice
St Elizabeth Hospice provide care for people living with serious illnesses that cannot be cured. The team do all that they can to make sure that patients, and their families, can make the most of the life left to them, living the lives they choose for as long as they can. Hospice nurses and staff help each person receive the support and care that is best for their specific conditions and circumstances.

How does it work? St Elizabeth Hospice offer care in peoples’ homes, as well as at the day care centre and inpatient unit in Ipswich. A lot of hospice care is focussed on bereavement therapy for families, following the death of a loved one. These services are provided free of charge and each year the hospice needs to generate £10.5million to pay for all the facilities and staff that are needed. And that’s where you come in…

Support and fundraising
Around three quarters of the money needed to run the hospice is raised by supporters who help us in lots of different ways. For example, you can: Join in with a hospice event; Challenge yourself and help others; Connect with your local community and shop or volunteer at your local St Elizabeth Hospice shop.
