- Internal Assessments (projects) + External Assessments (exams) = Overall Score
- 1-7
- Passing Score is 24
Scale:
7—Excellent
6—Very good
5—Good
4—Satisfactory
3—Mediocre
2—Poor
1—Very poor

6. This past week students reviewed the “rules” that pertain to magic #24
1. CAS requirements have been met 2. Candidate’s total points are 24 or more 3. There is no “N” awarded for TOK, EE or subject 4. There is no grade “E” awarded for TOK and/or EE 5. There is no grade of “1” in a subject (HL/SL) 6. There are no more than two grades of “2” (HL/SL) 7. There are no more than three grades of “3” or below (HL/SL) 8. Candidate has 12 points or more on HL subjects (three highest grades count if student tests in four HL subjects) 9. Candidate has 9 points or more on SL subjects (candidate who registers for only two SL subjects must have at least 5 points)

7. Why the EE + TOK are SO important…
Scored on a scale of A through E:
A—Excellent performance
B—Good performance
C—Satisfactory performance
D—Mediocre performance
E—Elementary performance

8. Paying for IB Exams
Payment for IB Exams will be done online using the CV System and a credit card
If you are unable to pay using a credit card, please contact Mrs. Miller
IB Registration (one-time) Fee-$168.00
IB Exam Fee- $ per exam
Payments accepted October 1st through October 31st

- Support & encourage your child – this is tough but so rewarding!
- Contact me if you have questions/concerns
- Consider joining the “Sunshine Committee”
- Donate snacks & k- cups to the IB Office
