9 What to expect in HS More student opportunities
15+ min of HW per night per class Absences have a greater impact Greater responsibility on student Classes and tests “count” Panther Period Impact of sports, clubs, activities Panther Period is 2 times per week and is meant as a make-up work/test/lab time and an club meeting time. Balance is important. While we have a lot available, you can’t do it all. Sometimes you have to make choices This is introductory information. 11 Class of 2023 Grad Requirements: Non-Credit
Certificate of Academic Achievement: Meet the state testing requirements in English/Language Arts, Math and Science 13th Year Plan: You will work on this at least once each school year in a specific required course or with the counselor Community Service: 8 hours completed in senior year Note: for scholarships, track community service beginning now

Review Course Description Book Seek input from teachers & parents Create a 4-year plan that meets graduation and future-plan requirements IEP Case Managers will help with course selections for students in Resource classes Fill out scheduling form & get necessary signatures Input course selections on line Turn in scheduling form
