4. Trading Networks
Because of Geography different groups became experts at different skills
Intermediate people brought things from place to place
Groups shared some traits because of this

5. Land Use Land was not able to be owned or sold
This idea caused conflict when Europeans came
All things are living, only dug land when necessary

6. Religious Beliefs Ancestors live in nature.
Believed in Supreme Beings.
Nature can speak to them.

7. Social Organization Family was strong, called kinship.
Work varied depending on a persons age, gender or social status
Some tribes all lived together in large groups, some lived in small bands so they could hunt, and got together for special occassions.
