Homework:
After much consideration, homework will become apart of our weekly routine. I believe this will be beneficial for the entire class this year. It will only be one page front and back. Please initial beside each night that you complete. When it is completed and turned in on Friday morning, your child will receive a special treat that will vary. Thank you for helping me help your child. 

Remember to read with your child 10 minutes each night. Reading to children helps them pick up many concepts of print through observing the reading and interacting with the person reading.

During football season, middle school cheerleaders will be selling ribbons for $.50 and tattoos for $1 every Fridays! Also, I love to see the kiddos in Red and Blue on Fridays! GO ELKS!! 
This six weeks our character trait is RESPECT.
The bus/car tags on your child’s backpack are very important and should NOT be removed. If information needs to be changed, please put a note in the zipper bag in the folder.
Our meeting on September 11th from 5:00-5:30 will be in our classroom. I will go over things such as my webpage, homework, school routines, and behaviors. I will show examples of our math and reading curriculum.
Mrs. Farrow is collecting BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION. If our class has the most for the 6 weeks, we will get a prize!
