1 Changes for 2009 There are no more minimum amount of races to receive rankings. The adjusted value per race group is now just the event value + the place points (see chart). There is no age group levels. Rankings are now only done by what state the rider is in and then by their age and category. Cat 1/2/3/4/5 for Road in states, Cat 1/2/3 for Mountain, with pro’s ranked nationally on the MTB and NRC calendar, and National Championships Calendar.

5 Example A rider race in a race with a event value level of 50. He placed 4th in the race. This rider would receive 100 points for this race. Event Value level + place points= riders points = 100

6 National Calendars If a race is on any of the National Calendar’s the results must be submitted to USAC within 24 hours after the close of the event. Prefer that results are submitted directly online. Must be in the proper USA Cycling approved format.

7 Submission Process Organization: Mountain or USCF Year : 2009
Event: the permit number given to the event IE: Date: MM/DD/YYYY Discipline: Cross Country, Downhill, Short Track Cross Country, 4X and cross country, marathon, road race, criterium (non rankable categories are entered here as well but will not receive ranking points) Category: Cat 1, Cat 2, Cat 3 etc… Gender: Men, Women, Mixed Class: Junior, Master, Senior ( optional field) Age: , 17-18, etc…. License #: (optional field) if you don’t have a license number list one day, or unknown or you can leave the cell blank. If no license number is listed the rider will not received points Last Name: Please do not include any commas or periods First Name: Please do not include any commas or periods Bib #: (Optional Field) Team Name: ( Optional Field) Time: (Optional Field) Place: Please us 1,2,3 not 1st , 2nd and 3rd , For DNF enter 999; for DNP enter 999 and for DNS enter 996.

9 Where to send the results
The most effective and efficient way to submit results is to do so directly online. In order to submit results you must have an account with USA Cycling. This allows us to establish a login and password exclusively for you. Please note that a racing license is not required to be able to submit results. The steps below will help guide you in the submission process. Step 1. Log on to Step 2. Create a “My Page Account with login and password Step 3 Under “USA Cycling Tools” click on “Submit Race Results Step 4 Enter event name or ID Step 5 Confirm your event Step 6 Choose one of two methods to submit results and follow the listed instructions. By submitting online, results will be immediately posted to the USA Cycling website and automatically calculated into the National Results & Rankings.
