MOBILE EXPLOSIONS By. Hannah Rose Jones
2
Question If i have baking soda and vinegar and soda and mentos then which one will move a toy car farther?
3
Background I choose this experiment because i like explosions and mixing things. I like making regular things move and really work. If I could make something a human could use then i would make a running car.
4
Hypothesis If I have soda and mentos and vinegar and baking soda. Then soda and mentos will move the toy car the farthest.
5
Variable Independent-The liquids(soda, vinegar)and solids(Baking soda and mentos) Dependent-How far the car will go Contents-Amount of liquids,Amount or solids,Size of toy car
6
procedure 1-First i will even out the amount of liquids(soda and vinegar) in each bottle 2-Then i will even out the same amount of solids(mentos and baking soda) into a container 3-I will insert the solids into a bottle with the liquids and seal the top 4-I will will then wait for the pressure to build up until it explodes 5-I will watch the reaction and see if it works 6-Last i will record the data

conclusion In conclusion, after testing both the experiments I have found that soda and mentos can move a toy car farther than vinegar and baking soda can. That is what I have found in this experiment.
