3. The Russian Revolution: Day 2
While we read Animal Farm, we’re going to use the Allegory Packet to keep track of the symbolism throughout the story. The packet includes all the important people, places, events, and types of government from the Russian Revolution that are symbolically represented in Animal Farm. Before we do that, though, we’re going to have to do some research.
With your groups, with a partner, or by yourself, your job will be to do enough research on each term that you accurately match the 28 definitions on your handout to its corresponding term on your Allegory Packet.
Once you’ve figured out which term is which, it will be your job to cut out each definition and glue it into its corresponding space on your packet.

4. The Russian Revolution: Day 2
Steps for today:
Figure out who in your group will research which term.
Research your assigned terms to the point where you can accurately match it to its definition. Use any sources available to you online – just make sure it’s reliable 
Before you start cutting and gluing, make sure your group has not used any terms more than once. If you have, you’ve made a mistake. I recommend writing the beginning of your definitions in the space before you glue the actual definitions in place.
