2 9th Amendment “The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.”

3 9th Amendment People have other rights that might not be listed in the Bill of Rights, and they still have to be protected Examples: Right to go to college, have a job, decorate your yard

4 10th Amendment “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

5 10th Amendment Powers the national government don’t have listed in the Constitution automatically go to the individual states and the people.
