“The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.”

3. 9th Amendment
People have other rights that might not be listed in the Bill of Rights, and they still have to be protected
Examples: Right to go to college, have a job, decorate your yard

4. 10th Amendment
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

5. 10th Amendment
Powers the national government don’t have listed in the Constitution automatically go to the individual states and the people.
