Who is God referring to when he says “our” image?
Why doesn’t he say in “MY” image?

What does it mean to make man in God’s image or likeness? Do we look like him? Are we all knowing, or all-powerful?
God is referring to our soul or spirit. The unseen part of us

8. Creation of Man Mind- Intellect Emotions- Feelings
We have a mind to communicate with God. God desires to relate personally to us.  He is a personal God and has created us to be personal beings so we can relate to God and others
Emotions- Feelings
God gave man feelings just like he has. We can love, feel sadness, happiness, joy, hurt. God gave us feelings so we can love God just as God loves us
Will- Ability to Choose
God did not want us to be robots. He wanted us to choose what is right or wrong and what to do or not to do. God gave us will so we could CHOOSE to love and obey God.

With a WILL so man could CHOOSE TO OBEY GOD

What does that mean exactly to rule over all of creation?
Man is given a special & unique role – Man alone is given this right by God
Man was to do God’s work on earth
Man was to do God’s work the way God wanted it to be done
Man is to be a leader over all of creation

When did Adam become alive?
Why is that important?
Only God can give life. Not any of his creation only the creator can give life.

God created everything including man, therefore he is the owner of all things, including man!
God created only one man.
Why is this important?
We all had one beginning “In Adam”. Adam is the ancestor of all people. Adam was created by God.
After man was created God declared it was good.
At this point everything God created was perfect

Why don’t Satan or his demons have the right to control or rule over the earth?

God is the only Creator of all things, therefore he is the owner of all things
Man is not only God’s creation, made in God’s image; man is also God’s cherished possession—accountable to his Creator.
We were created to be in submission to One who is almighty, sovereign, all-knowing, all-powerful, eternal; one who can supply all our needs. 1 Chronicles 29:11
