1 God’s operating system

2 God’s operating system
What is the underlining purpose of everything that God does, and how does He build His Kingdom?

3 God’s operating system
“ Relationships”

4 God’s operating system
Genesis 1:1-28 (NLT) 1  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2  The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. 3  Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4  And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness. 5  God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the first day.

5 God’s operating system
6  Then God said, “Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth.” 7  And that is what happened. God made this space to separate the waters of the earth from the waters of the heavens. 8  God called the space “sky.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the second day. 9  Then God said, “Let the waters beneath the sky flow together into one place, so dry ground may appear.” And that is what happened  God called the dry ground “land” and the waters “seas.” And God saw that it was good.

6 God’s operating system
11  Then God said, “Let the land sprout with vegetation—every sort of seed-bearing plant, and trees that grow seed-bearing fruit. These seeds will then produce the kinds of plants and trees from which they came.” And that is what happened  The land produced vegetation—all sorts of seed-bearing plants, and trees with seed-bearing fruit. Their seeds produced plants and trees of the same kind. And God saw that it was good  And evening passed and morning came, marking the third day  Then God said, “Let great lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them mark off the seasons, days, and years  Let these lights in the sky shine down on the earth.” And that is what happened.

7 God’s operating system
16  God made two great lights, the sun and the moon—the larger one to govern the day, and the smaller one to govern the night. He also made the stars  God set these lights in the sky to light the earth, 18  to govern the day and night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good  And evening passed and morning came, marking the fourth day.

8 God’s operating system
20  Then God said, “Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind.” 21  So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that scurries and swarms in the water, and every sort of bird—each producing offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good  Then God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply. Let the fish fill the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth.” 23  And evening passed and morning came, marking the fifth day  Then God said, “Let the earth produce every sort of animal, each producing offspring of the same kind—livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and wild animals.” And that is what happened  God made all sorts of wild animals, livestock, and small animals, each able to produce offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good.

26  Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like ourselves. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” 27  So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them  Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”

10 God’s operating system
Everything God creates is in some way in relation with another parts of his creation, Relationship is the operating system of God. Now did you notice how God said in verse 26, let “us” make human beings in our own image..

They are ONE Together! The word used for God in the creation account is Elohim which means ONE

Colossians 1:15-17 (NKJV) 15  He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation  For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him  And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

Genesis 2:7 (NKJV) 7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Notice how it says the LORD God, that word LORD in the Hebrew, is Yhvh, it is known as the proper name of God. Hebrew NASB Number: 3068 Hebrew Word: ‏ יהוה‎ Transliterated Word: Yhvh (i.e. ‏ יְהוָֹה‎) Transliterated Word: Yehovah or ‏יַהְוֶה‎ Transliterated Word: Yahveh) [217d] Root: from 1933b; Definition: the proper name of the God of Israel:--

Genesis 2:18-23 (NKJV) 18  And the LORD God said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him." 19  Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name  So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him  And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place  Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man  And Adam said: "This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man."

Genesis 2:8-9a (NKJV) 8  The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. 9  And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. Genesis 2:15 (NKJV) 15  Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.

17 God’s operating system
Genesis 3:8-11 (NKJV) 8  And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. 9  Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?"

John 17:20-23 (NLT) 20  “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message  I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one— as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me  “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one  I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.
