1 Objectives: - To understand the key themes that overarch the whole course. To understand how to assess what changes and stays the same in these themes over time. To be able to analyse how far different factors and turning points affect these themes. Outcomes: - C grade – will be able to describe the impact of key groups, individuals and events on the relationship between Britain and Ireland. B grade – will be able to analyse the change and continuity of the key themes through analysis of these groups, individuals and events. A grade – will be able to substantiated conclusion about the change that occurred in Ireland in this period through detailed analysis. Differentiated learning : - Differentiation by essay choice – students will focus on the areas they want to focus on for their coursework. Will be differentiation by outcome too as we are now in full coursework prep. Literacy: - Previous triangles used to fund knowledge. SMSC: - Cultural – impact on individual groups etc on the relationship between Ireland and Britain. Social – students work together to analyse the individual groups, individuals and events.
