2 Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment (art 4-5)
Reporting deadline Schemas, GIS Guidance, tools drafted and 1 round of testing finalised. 2nd round testing starting early April to early May 2011. Testing includes final enumeration lists for types of floods and consequences. All WG F members are invited to take part in testing and comment in writing on the schemas, lists and GIS Guidance. Finalisation at the FDRDG June 2011. Tools to be finalised and operational July 2011.

Types of floods, divided into : A: 1 sources of floods (obligatory level) Fluvial, pluvial, groundwater, sea water, artificial water bearing infrastructure, other, no data available A:2 Mechanism of flooding A:3 characteristics of flooding Types of consequence, divided into : Human health (Human health, community) Environemnt (waterbody status, protected areas, pollution sources) Cultural heritage (Cultural assets, Landscape) Economic (Property, infrastructure, rural land use, economic activity) Part of the testing, final round of written comments from other WGF Members , Drafting group to finalise in June.

7 Flood Hazard and Flood Risk maps (art 6)
Reporting deadline Reporting sheets approved in November 2010. Schemas, GIS Guidance, tools to be issued to the FDRDG end of April, for written comments until the next meeting One first round of testing fore seen over the summer. This step is expected to be more technically complex than previous reporting steps, so an early start to develop technical formats foreseen. The role of INSPIRE obligations will be important and will be taken into account in this process.

8 Flood Risk Management Plans – reporting sheet
Reporting deadline Flood Risk Management Plan Reporting Sheet Version 9 submitted to FDRDG 8 (16.2) Further consideration of appropriate links with WFD reporting deemed necessary in 2011: including the WFD-FD questionnaire further developments on the Reporting sheets for the interim WFD report (2012) , which includes a component of reporting progress on specific measures Proposal to present this for adoption in the Autumn Water Directors Next steps : Comments on the Enumeration lists for types of measures from WG F Presentation of progress from WG F to WG D ( ), with emphasis on the need to coordinate the reporting of the two set of plans in 2016. Commission to propose version 10 of the draft reporting sheet to next FDRDG (scheduled mid-June) Reporting sheet to be presented to WG F, SCG and WD in the autumn.

9 WISE Developments New WISE portal launched 22.3.2011 : water.europa.eu
New Wise viewer launched same day with interactive maps 2nd WISE implementation plan in production, to be discussed next week by WG D The WISE IP can then be sent to WG F/drafting group for comments

10 INSPIRE Inspire Annex I technical specifications adopted in 2010
Includes Hydrology, technical specifications and also a guidance document Annex II and III TS expected to be sent for consultation in the summer, and after that testing at the end of the year M Pfeiffer has made a progress report, available on CIRCA Drafting group
