PGP & Pre-Observation Post-Observation & Pre-Observation Tenured ( ) Peer and Full OPGES pilot

4 Why will my peers evaluate me?
Peer observers will NOT rate or evaluate a colleague. Peer observers conduct a mini observation to collect evidence on specific look-fors identified by the teacher. Teachers have the opportunity to receive feedback to allow for continuous improvement.

5 I am being judged by test scores!
PGES uses multiple evidences that determine the effectiveness rating of a teacher.

6 I always meet expectations for ALL standards!
The Framework for Teaching is divided into four categories: Ineffective, Developing, Accomplished, and Exemplary The framework provides descriptors for each component to help identify effectiveness in specific areas and guides where to go next. Accomplished is the goal for all teachers.

7 Why do students get input on how I am evaluated?
Students DO NOT determine effectiveness, rather their input on the student voice survey provides an opportunity for teachers to reflect and identify areas of improvement. Provides another source of evidence for reflection on effectivness

8 Will this system really help me grow?
Self-Assessment, PGP, Observation, Peer Observation, SGG, & Student Voice
