5 REVIEW OF POLICY Classroom teaching must be observed using one of the four piloted observation tools: Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching, Marzano Teacher Evaluation Model, The Thoughtful Classroom, or 5 Dimensions of Teaching and Learning. Student growth will count for 25% of the final evaluation. Pending legislation: 25% 2015-2016, 2016-2017 40% 2017-2018

14 EVALUATION PROCESS USING TEACHSCAPE Announced Observation: Evaluator emails teacher to set up date/time Teacher completes Pre-Observation Form and Component of Effective Lesson Plan Checklist Observation takes place Teacher completes self review Evaluator scores observation Post-Observation meeting takes place with Teacher completing Post--Observation Form if needed

16 Components of an Effective Lesson Plan-Checklist 2014-15 -Complete BEFORE the Announced observation -Complete AFTER an Unannounced observation -Form is within the Teachscape system

17 DOMAIN 4 It is encouraged to upload and archive evidence on a consistent basis throughout the year. Once the teacher presses submit, the evaluator will see what evidence is within Teachscape. The evaluator then will request revision which allows teachers to submit more evidence.
