How do Autotrophs get their “food”?
Photosynthesis
Photo = Light
Synthesis = to make
Therefore Photosynthesis means to make own food using light energy

Plants convert the energy from the sun into glucose (food).
They use this energy to fuel other chemical reactions or they store it as GLUCOSE (in their leaves/stem, etc.)
or as starch (in potatoes, corn, beans, etc.)

The chloroplast!
