4. On going work
Content: for improving the thematic coverage, a distinction is propose between a nucleus - yearly, and fixed rolling modules. For keeping flexibility, new policy needs could be introduced every two years
Timeliness: inside SILC: earlier data transmission, modelling on current income, micro simulation
Methodology: simplification of quality reports, precision requirements
Longitudinal component: study to produce scenarios, reconciliation of cross sectional and longitudinal
Modes of data collection: trade off with administrative data, multimode data collection, links with other data sources
