4 27 October 2011Eurostat Laboratory for developments in cross-cutting statistical domains 4 Valuation of social transfers in kind in household surveys Objective:  Development of across countries comparable estimates of social transfers in kind at the micro level to improve income distribution statistics from household surveys Incremental approach staring in December 2011:  Comparision of definition and practices across relevant statistics (ESSPROS, health, education, etc.)  Development of proposals to address differences / reconcile practices  Co-operation with NSIs  EU-SILC first, possibly later HBS and other household surveys Overview on main projects (2):
