2 Figure 1 Strep-A-induced IFN-γ production by skin CD4+ T cells in psoriasis. A psoriatic skin TCL was stained for surface CD4 or CD8 and intracellular IFN-γ expression, and analyzed by flow cytometry. The TCL was cultured with Strep-A (A, B), or in the absence of Strep-A (C, D). Strep-A induced IFN-γ production by CD4+, but not CD8+, T cells (A2 compared with B2). These dot blots are representative of the results obtained for eight out of 10 psoriatic skin TCL.
