2. UKLTR Cutover Completed successfully ahead of schedule
Quicker than expected due to :-
Less data needing final migration, enabling data to be transferred across network
Higher than expected speeds of data transfer across networks (75Mb vs. 45Mb)
No rectification activities being needed
Less time needed for batch catch-up
All business verification activities brought forward
First files released externally 15:00 Monday 25th

3. Snags & Issues
IAD Refresh had some minor problems and took longer than planned to bring completely in line
47 shipper files were not transferred during re-pointing the file routing from National Grid data centre to UK Link data centre.
These were restored and processed successfully on 29th Feb
Result of processing was identical to processing on Wednesday 27th
No knock-on impacts
Initial release of first files of each file type were slightly later than usual schedule, as all were pre-verified by xoserve prior to release.

4. Observations
Still not completed full month of invoicing cycle, although most major invoice types hae now been issued successfully
Capacity issued
Commodity issued
Ad hoc issued
Energy Balancing issued
NTS Entry and Exit capacity issued
Reconciliation outstanding – due for issue 28th March
First production of any file type will still be checked prior to issue

5. Overall Summary
Very successful implementation with low levels of defects and issues
Production operation of new UK Link has shown improvements on batch run times across all jobs
Daily meetings still being held to chase down any issues/snags
Close monitoring of system continuing throughout Post Implementation Support phase
Formal project closure – end May ‘08
