Friday, Jan. 18th- ACC Junior Jumpstart for all 11th graders at ACC Eastview
Monday, Jan. 21st- Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday
Tuesday, Jan. 22nd- ACC Begins

3. Online Activity 1. Go to collegeboard.org.
*This is where you will sign up for SAT tests and research colleges.
2. Create an account.
*This is a website you will be using for the next few years, so use a password you will remember.

4. Online Activity
After you have created an account, begin building your college list. You need at least six colleges to be eligible for the scholarship. Go to bigfuture.collegeboard.org and click “Get Started”.

5. Online Activity
You can search by size, location, religion, or major. Click around and read up on the schools that meet your criteria. Do I want to go to college close by or in another state? Do I want a big school >15,000 or a small school <2,000? Do I want to be a veterinarian or a police officer?

6. Online Activity
I entered the criteria for: -4 year university -public -medium or large -Coed -within 300 miles of Bastrop, TX -Psychology, General major And it gave me 29 results!

7. Online Activity
Now I can click on one of these schools and learn more about it. And add it to my list. (Quite a few of this year’s seniors are attending Sam Houston State.)
