1 A group work about food habits in our school By class III B ITC L. Einaudi Narni (TR) School year 2006/2007

2 This is a general account of food habits in our school: meals, food, where to eat, diets…. Our class provided each student with a questionnaire consisting of 10 questions; then we examined, translated into English and revised every answer to current situation. Finally we reported all the information in graphics to compare the different answers given by each of us, and to make their reading easier.

Then there is a majority of carbohydrates and proteins and a quite high percentage of fats.

12 Foods that arent particularly appreciated are vegetables (fibres), followed by eggs (fats), fish (proteins), cheese and mushrooms.

When they have breakfast they mostly assume calcium and caffeine, so milk, cappuccino or coffee with some cakes.

23 Generally students have good food habits except for the high percentage of people who dislike vegetables, which produces a lack of fibres in our diet. Moreover too many students dont have breakfast in the morning and it can cause a lowering in concentration and an increase of stress.
