live? Why do you like Charfield? Visit the coast- what is it like and how does it compare to Charfield?

Science: Name and discuss natural materials when out and about. Discuss their properties and how they are used/ what can be made from them.
ICT: discuss graphs/ tables as you notice them in
reading: what is their purpose and how do you
read the information?

Try sewing a simple running stitch Show how
sewing joins two items together. Look at seascapes and how different artists depict them in different ways. Go to the beach and listen to all of the different sounds. Discuss what you can see, hear, smell, taste and feel.

Give your child coins to look at and allow them to pay for items with money at the shop. Can they calculate how much
change they will get? Make a pictogram to show the pets of friends/ family. Use smarties to make a colour graph!
