2 Overview What is a Mentor? Expectations District Recommended Criteria
A mentor is a person who shares his or her knowledge and expertise with one or more people who have less experience. Mentors are the advisors and tutors for new clubs and have a great effect on the degree to which a new club succeeds. Expectations District Recommended Criteria Attend every meeting for first 6 months* Ensure that the necessary trainings and educational sessions (present on slide 2) are conducted for the club Minimum 1 year of experience as a Toastmaster Have served as an ExCom officer * Except in case of unavoidable circumstances.

3 District Recommended Tasks
Ensure club officers are trained within 15 days of charter. Ensure club automation tool like easy-speak is set up for club operations. Ensure following trainings are conducted From Successful Club Series conduct Meeting Roles and Responsibilities (1st meeting) Evaluate to Motivate (3rd meeting) How to be a Distinguished Club (7th meeting) Going Beyond our club (9th meeting) Mentoring (11th meeting) Moments of Truth (Last month of mentoring) From Better Speaking Series conduct Selecting Your Topic (2nd meeting) Beginning Your Speech (4th meeting) Concluding Your Speech (6th meeting) Organizing Your Speech (8th meeting) Preparation And Practice (10th meeting)

5 Recognition Condition Eligibility Recognition
Assigned mentors helping clubs chartered since July 1st,2018 for 6 months. Eligibility President of Club to send the mentor credit form to TI after reviewing parameter published by CGD office. Recognition Mentor Pin
