Look at the following images and decide what is happening in each one.

12. Weather and Climate
Remember the difference between weather and climate…….
Weather is day-to-day state of atmosphere at a place whereas climate can be defined as long term average of atmospheric conditions of that place.
In other words, weather is what you see and find every day whereas climate is an average of that weather. Climate is usually an average of 30 years weather of a certain place
Climate is the average of at least 30 years of weather
“Climate is what you expect: weather is what you get”

How would you describe the climate of where you live? As a group, discuss what you think is the most dangerous weather event you have experienced and your reasons why. When has the weather where you live been least like the climate?
