The Myall Creek massacre near Gwydir River, in the central New South Wales district of Namoi, involved the killing of up to 30 unarmed Indigenous Australians by ten white Europeans and one black African on 10 June 1838.

The attack consisted 11 convicts and assigned former convicts. The attack was an ambush that was bloody.

In the attack 30 aboriginals were killed and little amount of convicts, because of the aboriginals fighting back. Some of the woman were raped and killed. The aboriginals fought back not only saving their lives the but defending their land.

After the attack, the killers got sent to court two times because they killed 30 aboriginals, along as raping some.
