FCC Memorandum Opinion and Order and Order on Reconsideration – Postponed Transition Period ending July 13, 2017 AND stated that testing labs in non-MRA countries must be assessed by an FCC Recognized Test Firm Accrediting Body (TFAB). Test site validation requirements to CISPR16-1-4:2010 is still July 13, 2018.
FCC recognized NIST/NVLAP and A2LA as FCC Recognized Test Firm Accrediting Bodies as of 23 March Valid for People’s Republic of China, Indonesia, India, Philippines, Russia, Switzerland, Thailand and Ukraine.

Motion from the Steering Committee
Recommended procedure for PINS will be to (1) use the word version of the PINS when initiating a PINS at the working group or subcommittee level; (2) obtain main committee approval of the PINS; (3) the secretary of the main committee will submit the PINS to Sue Vogel; (4) Sue will populate the web-based PINS Form and submit it to ANSI.
