160. Selected Key Findings
Compared to Broward County residents as a whole, Hispanic residents show:
A lower prevalence of diabetes
Lower cigarette smoking prevalence
Lower prevalence of high blood pressure and high cholesterol
Better usage of Pap smears
Lower reported prevalence of firearms in the home
However:
Hispanic respondents are much more often without health insurance
Hispanic respondents give lower ratings of local health care
