Variables are used in an experiment to help scientists test a hypothesis

The One variable that is Purposely changed to test a hypothesis

The variable you Measure
The variable that changes in Response to the independent variable.
Remember: “Responds is the Responding”

5. 3. Controlled (constants)
The variable or variables that stay the same, stay constant
Remember: “Controlled are Constant”
