2 Icebreaker- Twenty Questions
A student is chosen to stand in the middle of the circle. A notecard name a hobby is affixed to his/her back. He or she may ask up to twenty yes-or- no questions to try to figure out what is written on the card.

8 Icebreaker- Something’s Changed
A student stands in the middle of the circle and slowly turns around. The students in the circle observe him/her carefully, trying to memorize the details of how he/she looks. He/she then goes out of sight and changes one, two, or three things about his/her appearance. Upon his/her return, she slowly turns around in the middle of the circle. Three guesses are given as to what has changed.

14 Icebreaker- Simultaneous Clap
Students stand in a circle. Leader starts by clapping both hands with the student to his/her right, just once. That student quickly turns to his/her right and repeats, and so on. Increase the challenge by varying the clap or clapping individually but simultaneously with the person next to you, one pair at a time, around the circle.

FAKE FOODS Foods that are changed a lot with chemicals from how they are grown. Foods that have a lot of things added to them. Foods that you cannot cook yourself in a kitchen.

22 Icebreaker- Rap a Rhythm
While seated in a circle, a leader “calls” by clapping a rhythm and/or snapping fingers in a basic rhythmic pattern. Then the student to the right “responds” by creating a different short rhythmic pattern. Everyone else in the circle repeats the “response” and the leader repeats his/her original pattern. Students take turns being the leader and the responder.

24 Other Ways to Be Healthy
Get enough sleep. Stay away from drugs, alcohol, and smoking. Don’t obsess about your weight. Protect yourself against the sun.

With a partner, choose one of the topics we just discussed. You will complete a graphic organizer using an article about that topic. Create a mini-poster about the topic.
