Valentine’s Day Thanksgiving Easter Christmas Graduation Hanukkah Mother’s Day New Year’s Eve Father’s Day 4th of July

4 Minor Selling Seasons & Events
New Year’s Eve/Day Flag Day Epiphany Labor Day Martin Luther King Day Veterans Day President’s Day Day of the Dead Fat Tuesday St. Patrick’s Day Cinco de Mayo Memorial Day

5 Promotional Events Donut Day Ice Cream Day Sporting Events Football
Basketball Baseball Local/Regional Events Astros Play offs and World series for example!!!!!!!

6 Wedding Season Year round, including holidays Weekends- Friday-Sunday
January & February have the two largest wedding conventions of the year. April-June is busy wedding season July & August are least busy Payment comes months before the event, very costly and requires a lot of logistics. There are a lot of costs and it can be hard to make good money.

7 Black Swan Events Random and non predictable. For a bakery, it is an irregular opportunity to capitalize on sales. Examples: Royal Weddings Local sports finals IE World Series Olympics Solar Eclipse Presidential Election

8 Day Parts and Selling! How would you use your typical day parts to promote these items? Is it important to record the weather along with sales data? Is it possible to have stacked holidays? IE Super Bowl, Mardi Gras, Valentines day celebrated together? Is Father’s Day a major sales day?
