10. Classroom Behavior
Expectations for behavior are high in 2T. The students are encouraged to make good decisions regarding how they will conduct themselves throughout the day and are taught to take accountability for their actions.

11. Classroom Behavior Growth Mindset Ladder
Expectations are reviewed before each activity (CHAMPS)
Efforts are recognized through moving up the ladder, specific praise, communication home, Trygg Treasure, and “Bam Bracelets”.

12. Classroom Behavior Mistakes Happen!
Students could move down on the ladder.
Example: If they choose not to listen when another student is speaking, or are not using their learning time effectively.
If a student lands on the lowest rung of the ladder, at any point during the day, I will communicate home about the choices that were made that day.

13. Classroom Behavior Mistakes Happen!
The ladder is fluid and students may move up and down several rungs in one day.
GOAL: to be on or above the rung that we start the day on (GREEN)
However, that may not always happen. Therefore, we look at that day as a learning opportunity and will start fresh the next day.

14. Routines and Procedures
Take-Home Folders: go back and forth from school to home everyday.
Behavior Calendar: stays in their take-home folder for the entire month
