Confidence in Christ

2. Psalm 37:3ff (from the Passion translation).
Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in His eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God and you will be secure feasting on His faithfulness. Make God the utmost desire and pleasure of your life and He will provide for you what you desire most. Give God the right to direct your life and as you trust Him along the way you’ll find He pulled it off perfectly.

3. John 8:32
You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

You are not worth anything
You are fearfully and wonderfully made. God knew you before you were even conceived...

We are all His workmanship, made in His image

I have learnt in whatever situation I am in to be content. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil...

All things work together for good for those who love God and are called by His name

10. Phillipians 4: 6 ff
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praise worthy – think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me – put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
