6 Importance of 7th grade This grade is more important than 6th grade. Why? In the beginning of your 8th grade year, you will be filling out applications for selective enrollment high schools. They look at your grades and test scores from 7th grade. You want to maintain good grades. They look at your attendance too. You need to have good behavior. All conduct reports are done online. Schools can access them.

7 communication It is my goal to stay in communication with parents. This year is an important year for our 7th graders. We must work side by side for learning to occur at school and at home. Please call me at school (773) ,  check the parent portal for up-to-date grades or me Please check the Beasley website, I will update their homework everyday on this website. I will not be available to talk during instructional time. is the best way to get in contact with me. I want to work as a team. I look forward to working with you this year.
