Infrared Handheld Devices – (SEE IF AN SMS OR RSOM CAN BRING ONE TO YOUR SALES MEETINGS) Electrical fires are one of the top causes of fire in commercial properties. All SMS are outfitted with Infrared Handheld Devices that allows for infrared surveys of electrical panels to detect the level of temperature emitted by objects. An infrared gun is a helpful early detection tool that is used to survey electrical temperatures emitted from electrical components and machinery. These surveys can detect heat variances caused by poor connections, faulty contacts and electrical overloads. Minimizing a building’s risks and maintenance costs, infrared surveys can help you identify low-cost corrective actions, relative to the high cost of emergency, unscheduled maintenance and equipment repairs due to property damage from a loss. Other applications used is in Social Service Setting to check water temperature to minimize scalding; roof scans to identify possible sources of leaks into the building. Advanced Technology being piloted in regions that allow for thermal images capable of capturing detailed images and sent via a Smartphone in real time. See Success story attached.

Jobsite safety inspections are conducted during our initial risk assessments and for larger accounts we can customize service plans that include jobsite inspection programs to complement their existing program by acting as a 3rd party to assess the OSHA focus 4 hazards, property theft controls, and GL site controls.
Accident Prevention consultation to aid employers establish workplace safety committees, safety programs, & site inspections. Post Injury Management & consultation to provide assistance establishing an Early Return to Work/Transitional Alternative Duty (TAD) Program. Selective encourages our customers to offer a Return To Work program to help inured employees resume productive work as soon as their doctor says they may. The attached flyer offers tips for establishing your Return to Work policy and program. We can provide assistance with establishing a model policy statement and outline steps to develop a structured process for creating a Return to Work Program designed to minimize the disruption and uncertainty that can accompany an on-the-job injury for both the company and for all employees.
