4 Warm Up Answer the following questions from your notes.
Is nonfiction only a true account of an event? If not, give the definition in your own words. What is PIEE and what does it stand for? How does bias play a role in nonfiction?

5 VCR Unit 1 Take out your flashcards. Turn in any late work.
Take out your VCR books and start working on 1A.

6 Passage Packet Procedure
Take a copy of the reading, questions, and answer sheet. Write down annotation objectives for the week. Read passage and annotate per objectives and for general understanding. Answer questions based on reading. Record answers on answer sheet. You Must Include a Rationale (the reason why you picked that answer).

8 Grammar Assessment Keep your desk clear of everything except for a pencil. Remember to write your name at the top of the page. No talking or communicating with anyone but the teacher. If you do not know an answer, leave it blank. *This will not be entered into the gradebook. Relax and answer to the best of your knowledge* When finished, raise your hand.

9 Closure List three things you learned about nonfiction today. Describe two of the steps needed to understand nonfiction. Compose one question you still have regarding nonfiction.
