3 Survey Results – Summary
St. Bridget Parish’s Results are Comparable to Catholics and Faithful in Gallup Database. However, respondents were less engaged than both benchmarks. St. Bridget is 22% Engaged vs. 31% Catholics vs. 32% Faithful. St. Bridget is 49% NOT Engaged vs. 47% Catholics vs. 47% Faithful. St. Bridget is 29% Actively DISENGAGED vs. 22% Catholics vs. 21% Faithful. Out of 7,000 Parishoners, ONLY 730 Responses – 10% Homogeneity of Respondents’ Socioeconomic Status: 84% - College Graduates & Advanced Degrees 84% - Attended Mass Last Week 79% - Married 57% - $100,000 Annual Household Income Before Taxes 58% - Parishoners for 10+ Years 44% - Between 45 and 64 Years Old

Top Strengths: 79% High Life Satisfaction 74% Say: My Parish Meets My Spiritual Needs 71%: My Parish is a Place to Learn & Grow 63% Say: My Parish Cares About Me 55% Say: My Faith Gives Inner Peace Lives Have Meaning & Purpose Speak Words of Kindness Areas for Improvement: Low Overall Participation (ONLY 10%) Inadequate Overall Representation Lack of Young Adult Responses (4%) Overrepresentation of Females (62%) Lack of Male Responses (Only 38%) No Questions on Race No Questions on Parenting (# Kids) No Questions on Reasons for Disengagement (Time, Stress, etc.) No Open-Ended Questions 71% Volunteer 2 Hours or Less Weekly 69% NOT Invited Others to Parish ONLY 10% Give $5,000 Annually Estimated 1% Tithing
