Reading/Language Arts:
Students will begin an in depth study of non-fiction works. We will read a variety of non-fiction texts and learn how to use critical thinking to determine the author’s purpose for each text feature.
Writing/Spelling:
Spelling homework this week! This week we are learning how to use Key Note (apple version of PowerPoint) and Pages to create our own non-fiction informative works.
Integrated Studies:
Geology Unit continues. Students will explore plate tectonics through model building and paper puzzle replicas.
